Take me back to this beautiful baby photo shoot! We loved meeting this awesome family, and their sweet little girl had us from the moment we met her! All that gorgeous hair and her cute button nose. We’ve had so many girls in the studio lately! This means that I’ve gotten to play with all kinds of fun set ups, props, headbands and colors. Over the years of offering professional newborn photography in Los Angeles, we have found that parents absolutely love that we provide everything for our infant photo sessions.

Just bring baby, we say! Photography props like baskets, crates, vintage bowls, buckets, etc. are all here and we have tons of them. We have curated an adorable collection of little hand knit hats, bonnets, floral headbands, swaddle wraps and sweet “lovies” for baby to cuddle. We also have a nice assortment of fabric colors for our bare baby poses, distressed barn wood backgrounds for our prop set ups and beautiful, neutral solid backdrops for our parent and sibling shots.

Mom and Dad decided to go with some bolder colors and we love it! When they arrived for their photo shoot we had a quite a few set ups ready to go and they immediately gravitated to the mustard yellow and purple tones.

Swoon! I have been wanting to use our mustard wrap and coordinating mustard fleece for awhile now and I just love how this look came together. So contemporary. Perfectly complimented with a dainty headband adorned with dried organic flowers. Look at her face! The lighting is just right. She is such an angel! When I look at this portrait I see such a happy, and oh so peaceful sleeping baby.

Of course we had to capture this aerial angle. It’s always a parent favorite. In the pre-session questionnaire, Mom mentioned she would love to get a shot using our wood baby bed prop. I got you, mama! The natural textures in this image are just beautiful!
