When mom contacted me about being their Los Angeles newborn photographer again, we were so excited! With another baby on the way, this wonderful family was about to become a family of FOUR! This time with a baby girl! We absolutely loved meeting them for their son’s newborn photography session. Mom and Dad make a gorgeous couple and their kiddos are no exception either! Big brother was a little shy, and mom gave us a heads up on this. We had a plan though! On her side, she started telling him about the upcoming photography session weeks in advance. Even showing him pictures of us from our website and telling him our names. On our side, I made sure we had lots of little toys, treats and prizes on hand for the amazing job I already knew he was going to do. It was really important to win his trust if wanted any kind of chance of photographing him with his new baby sister. Judging from the images we were able to capture, I think we won him over! In fact, at the end of the session, he really didn’t want to stop playing with me!

The first set up in our clean fabric looks was a beautiful all cream look. Accessorizing this pose with a sweet headband and a soft angora wrap perfected it. She looks heavenly in this shot!

I gently guided her into a different pose and kept it simple with just a beautiful pale pink rosette headband.

Since she was still sleeping peacefully, we moved to another all time favorite newborn photography pose. Parents love this shot because is showcases baby’s sweet face perfectly!
